Sexing
It's allways hard to determine the sex with monitors. With males is generally easily to see because they occasional show their hemipenes during defecating. However when you don't see this, it will not say that it is therefore a female. To determine if you have a female you can apply endoscopy.At endoscopy they first let the monitor reach the perfect temperature in an incubator so that the gas they will use will bring him to sleep more quickly and works better. Once the monitor is in sleep they make a small incision in it's side. Then, with a very small camera they will enter the incision and will try to find the ovaries. Unfortunately this method does not work with monitors which are TOO fat because then they will only see fat.
